Every piece of jewelry sold by LoveWeddingBands undergoes a rigorous quality inspection before it reaches you. We stand behind our craftsmanship with a comprehensive Lifetime Warranty — because a wedding ring is meant to last a lifetime, and so is our commitment to you.

What Is Covered

Our Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing defects. When a defect is confirmed, LoveWeddingBands will repair or correct your piece at no charge, including:

  • Prong tightening to secure stones loosened by a manufacturing issue
  • Replacement of side stones lost due to broken prongs that result from a manufacturing defect
  • Complimentary cleaning, polishing, and routine prong inspection at our workshop

If you believe a manufacturing defect is present, one of our jewelry specialists will inspect and evaluate your piece. Should a defect be confirmed, all related repairs are completed at no cost to you.

Rhodium Re-Plating

White gold is naturally finished with rhodium plating, which gradually wears with everyday use — this is normal and not a defect. As a courtesy, we offer complimentary rhodium re-plating during your first year of ownership. After the first year, re-plating is available for a nominal fee. (You cover insured shipping to us; we cover the return shipping.)

What Is Not Covered

The Lifetime Warranty does not cover damage from circumstances outside of a manufacturing defect. The following are explicitly excluded:

  • Normal wear and tear over time
  • Damage caused by trauma, accidents, or physical impact
  • Negligence or improper care
  • Lack of regular professional maintenance
  • Repairs, alterations, or modifications performed by a third-party jeweler
  • Loss or theft of the item
  • Loss of the center stone (not covered under any circumstances)

If any alteration or modification has been carried out by a third-party jeweler or outside of our workshop, the Lifetime Warranty is immediately voided for the affected components.

Fees for Non-Warranty Repairs

A nominal service fee applies to any repair determined to be the result of normal wear and tear, improper maintenance, or third-party damage. We will always provide a clear cost estimate for your approval before any work is carried out.

Shipping for Warranty & Repairs

For any warranty claim or repair, please ship your item to us using an insured, trackable, signature-required method (such as UPS or USPS Registered Mail), insured for its full value. If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we cover the cost of return shipping back to you. For non-warranty repairs, return shipping is included in your repair estimate.

Maintaining Your Jewelry

To keep your ring in pristine condition for years to come, we recommend:

  • Having your ring professionally cleaned and your prongs inspected every 6 to 12 months — by us, or by a trusted local jeweler between visits
  • Insuring your jewelry against loss, theft, and accidental damage
  • Removing your ring during activities that expose it to harsh chemicals, hard impact, or abrasive work (gardening, lifting, cleaning)
